WORD TODAY: Jesus, a Light to the Nations

 

More Christmas Prophecies!

Old Testament Promise:
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Isaiah 60:1-3

New Testament Fulfillment:
Simeon took the Child in his arms and blessed God and said, "For my eyes have seen Your salvation, which You have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to Your people Israel." Luke 2:30-32

Simeon’s prophecy not only declare Jesus’ purpose in coming, but that salvation was also for the Gentiles as well as the Jews!

Jesus came for all of us.
