Luke 17:26-27 Nothing is a coincidence with God, and especially when you consider the significance of Noah's Ark (God's holy judgment on wicked, shameless people) AND the fact that Jesus predicted Noah's Ark would be a sign for the end times: the current archaeological expedition on Ararat is a HUGE discovery and we should all take notice of it. This is no small deal at all. The atheists are already going nuts: Christians should be, also! A research team is currently in Turkey studying the Durupinar formation, which has long been suspected as the location of Noah's Ark. They are doing core drilling, ground penetrating radar and they're even sending a small robot down into some voids that have been seen on the radar. NOAH’s ARK ON FACEBOOK CLICK HERE The research team thinks the top level of the Ark is mostly destroyed but the bottom levels may be partially intact, and even fossilized (petrified wood.)   The Durupinar formation was first photographed by a Turkish Air Force fighter pilot who saw it as he was flying over the mountains of Ararat. This was in 1959, but in all these years Turkey has not allowed a real research team to come in and do a serious study. Until now! They have given the current team full authorization to work on the site and Turkish authorities have helped determine the tests they will allow on it. (I think Turkey sees this as a tourism opportunity.)   It is interesting that people in the local villages have always known this was the site of Noah's Ark; there's never been any question in their minds. It's a permanent part of their legends, going all the way back to Noah himself, apparently. God left us a breadcrumb trail for a reason: He wanted us to find the Ark! NOW, seventy years after it was first spotted by that pilot, a team has FINALLY been allowed to do work on this very significant archaeological site. Meanwhile, the Atheists have gone berserk and are mocking the project, lying about it, and even harassing the research team. Recently someone burgled the apartment of the team leader and stole computers, memory sticks and anything else that might contain his data on Noah's Ark. Fortunately he has backups which are safe. Why does this project matter so much?? Because Jesus predicted that in end times, it will be as it was in the days of Noah. Discovering Noah's Ark at this time would be yet another confirmation that end times are likely moving in on us! Christians are excited about this discovery but the symbolism of Noah’s Ark means much more than an archaeological treasure. Noah’s Ark is a warning for the entire world: a warning of judgment to come. The sins of the people had gotten so bad in Noah's day that God was finished with them. The people were wicked, unrepentant, shameless, and totally unconcerned about the warnings from Noah. Jesus also said that Sodom and Gomorrah were the same way: their debauchery was beyond belief, their violence was without remorse. And God brought judgment on those wicked cities, too. People don't want to believe judgment is coming... but YES, it is. And there's no stopping it when it comes. Now is time to get right with God, and accept Jesus as your Savior.
