GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD

When my friend Gloria learned that her little girl’s diagnosis meant a premature death, she vacillated between depression and outbursts of anger against God. She would leave her daughter’s bedside at night and cry out, “God, it’s not right. You’ve never had to watch one of Your children die!”
Right then, it hit her. God most certainly did watch His child die. His one and only child. Yet God endured the pain because God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that Gloria, her child, and countless others might have life eternal.
So, in the hard months ahead, Gloria found strength in the most amazing parent support group ever… The one between her and God the Father in heaven. Used with permission.
