God’s Word in our Hearts! These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 God wants us to think about His Words every day, all day! The ways of God should become part of the core of who we are, and implanted in our hearts. And, we are to teach our children even as we teach ourselves. Let the little ones see this happening in our lives, and it will make a lifetime impression on them. This is not a suggestion… it is one of the Lord’s commands: Teach Your Children. And, share the joy of God’s Word with people around you! Let them see it, and hear it, so they will desire it for their own lives. What a blessing it is to find people who love God’s Word as much as you do! Such fellowship is so sweet, and unfortunately it is too rare in our world today. But such godly fellowship has the Glory of the Lord in it, which is why the Bible encourages us to meet with other believers. The Lord himself will be there, also! For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:20
