Matthew 16:24 Coffee Thoughts… Being a Christian, a believer, is not hard. Not believing, and rejecting the truth; THAT is a hard life. The reason we often associate Christianity as hard, (taking up the cross and following Him, as a negative), is because we are still wanting to drag the old first-born along. The carnal part of us. Now THAT is hard. That carnal part of me hates the cross, hates self denial, and hates all things of that nature. The gate is narrow because SELF doesn’t get to go through. Once you let go and let God be God, the gate is just the right width to easily pass through with room to spare!
